The Construction Law Section held its annual meeting in February, 2012. The meeting included a review of recent National and Local cases that are important to practicing Construction Law in Manitoba. The meeting also included an update on the activities of the CBA National Construction Law Section, including the upcoming bi‐annual National Construction Law Conference, which is being held in St. John’s Newfoundland in September, 2012. The Section decided to continue holding an annual meeting that includes a recent case law update. The Section also expressed interest in speaking with other Sections to potentially hold a joint meeting with another group involving shared topics of interest.
