The section organized a panel for the 2014 Mid-Winter Conference on Accommodation and Privacy Issues. The panelists were Shannon Carson, Jeff Palamar, Denny Kells with Adrian Frost acting as moderator. The session was well attended and received very positive feedback in the evaluations submitted.

Public Sector Lawyers’ Forum Report 2013-2014

In April 2014, the Public Sector Lawyers’ Forum (“PSLF”) co-hosted a well-attended session with the CCCA on “A Review and Best Practices in Procurement Processes”. Local experts Julie Frederickson of Manitoba Justice – Civil Legal Services and recently retired lawyer from the same department, Eleanor Andres, provided their insight on the many issues flowing from the use of different procurement processes within the government/public sector.
