Section Reports Taxation Law Section Report 2010‐2011 August 11, 2011 In the 2010‐2011 Section year, the Tax Section co‐presented a CRA Round Table on October 14, 2010. The tax practitioners attending the Round Table heard presentations by Canada Revenue Agency and Manitoba Finance officials on a number of topical issues. On June 27, 2011 the Tax Section had a presentation on the directors’ liability and the due diligence defence.

Section Reports Health Law Section Report 2010‐2011 August 11, 2011 On February 9, 2011, the MBA Health Law Section hosted a meeting of its members on the topic of “Critical Incidents”, focusing on The Regional Health Authorities Act sections creating them and the applicable Manitoba Evidence Act statutory privilege.
