This Section for Internationally-Trained Lawyers offers a platform to assist lawyers who have received their training abroad and are either currently practicing or planning to practice law in Manitoba. This platform aims to provide opportunities for networking, mentoring, and sharing of resources. The main goal of this Section is to foster connections among legal professionals with diverse backgrounds and help them smoothly integrate into the legal market in Canada. Section members will gain valuable insights into the qualification process, the requirements, the challenges, and the opportunities of working in the Canadian legal industry. Additionally, they will be able to access networking and mentorship opportunities. This Section presents an excellent avenue for connecting with Manitoba-based lawyers through the CBA network and leveraging resources provided by the CBA.
