The Distinguished Service Award

The Distinguished Service Award is presented to a member of the Bench or Bar who exemplifies the ideals of service to the legal profession and the community.

Eligibility

The Award is open to any member in good standing of the Manitoba Bar Association. Members of the current Executive Committee of the MBA are not eligible.

Nomination Procedure

Nominations must be received in writing by at least two people (writing separately or jointly) outlining the reasons why the candidate should be selected.

Nominations should be submitted by email to mfalk@cba-mb.ca.

Deadline

Approximately October 31 – exact date to be determined each year.

Selection Process

Award winners are selected by the MBA Executive Committee.
