The WCB is currently recruiting for a Legal Counsel I to join our Legal Services team.
We are seeking a qualified contract lawyer to join our Legal Services team. In this role, you will provide effective legal advice and support to the WCB, ensuring that the administration of the workers compensation system is conducted lawfully, in compliance with The Workers Compensation Act and other relevant legislation.
We are specifically looking for a candidate with proven experience in contract law and contract drafting. The successful applicant will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a range of legal agreements and for advising internal stakeholders on legal risks, obligations, and strategies related to contractual matters.
