Join the Aboriginal Law Section to receive updates on current and emerging areas of the law, recent cases and new directions impacting Indigenous People, Nations, organizations and businesses in what is now called Manitoba. This may include topics such as Governance; duty to consult and accommodate; Treaty, Aboriginal, and Human Rights; Nation-to-Nation relationships; administrative and regulatory law; lands and resources; the relationship between Canadian Law and Indigenous Law; employment and labour relations; economic development; business structures on and off Reserve; and taxation issues. This Section is open to all MBA members and welcomes you to learn and discuss important issues in Aboriginal law through CPDs, forums, and networking events for our Section members.
